Our wooden Venetian blinds come in two slat widths, 25mm and 50mm, made from Basswood: a soft, lightweight, sustainable timber that stands up well to changes in light and atmosphere. Each slat is finished with layers of lacquer so the colour doesn’t fade, giving an elegant, natural touch to any room.
The wider 50mm slats have fewer knots and better resistance to knocks, so we’d recommend them for blinds that get opened and closed often. Every wooden blind can be made on a rope ladder or tape, and can be built on a track for bay or angled windows if needed.
FAUX WOOD BLINDS
Same look, made for humidity.
Kitchens, bathrooms and other rooms exposed to heat and steam aren’t kind to real timber, which is where our faux wood blinds come in. They give you the same warm, elegant look as real wood but are built to cope with heat and humidity without warping, and are available in an FR-rated option where fire safety regulations call for it.
