Aluminium venetians are the practical, hard-working choice in our venetian range — designed for rooms and situations where character matters less than durability, ease and low maintenance. Where wood venetians add warmth and faux wood mimics that warmth in a more durable form, aluminium goes lighter still: thinner slats, less weight, faster operation, and a completely water-tolerant material that won’t warp, stain or degrade in humid conditions. They come in a wider palette than any other venetian we offer — from crisp whites and warm creams to silvers, golds and blacks — and can be made in larger sizes than wood or faux wood at a fraction of the weight.

Aluminium slats are lightweight, water-tolerant and completely wipe-clean — a simple pass with a damp cloth is all the maintenance they need. Unlike timber, they won’t warp in humidity, discolour in steam or crack over time. Unlike faux wood, they’re significantly lighter, which means smoother, quieter operation and less strain on the mechanism over years of daily use. They’re the venetian you install in a rental property and stop thinking about. The venetian you fit in a family bathroom and don’t worry about splashes. The colour range is where aluminium quietly does something no other venetian can. Because the material takes finishes evenly and consistently, we can offer soft whites and warm creams for classic schemes, muted greys for contemporary rooms, and true metallic finishes — silver, gold, brushed bronze and matte black — for industrial, modern and design-forward spaces. The finish is baked onto the slat surface, so it won’t chip, peel or fade with sunlight over time. If you’ve ever wanted a metallic-look blind, aluminium is the only venetian that gets you there without compromise.
SLATS & SIZES
Two slat widths,and larger than timber can go.
Choose from two slat widths — a slim 25mm for a fine, close-tiled look that suits smaller windows and modern rooms, or a bolder 50mm that lets in more light when open and reads more contemporary. Because aluminium is so much lighter than real or faux timber, we can also build aluminium venetians in sizes that would be impossible in wood — wider spans, taller drops, larger single-window installations — without the mechanism buckling or the slats sagging. If you have a large window that would defeat a wood venetian, aluminium is often the only venetian that will fit.
