With their three-dimensional shape and angled glass, roof lanterns catch the sun from every direction, channelling light into the room all day long — brilliant, until the glare and heat get too much. Roof lantern blinds are made in a choice of fabrics, giving two distinct levels of shading. Dim-out fabric softens and diffuses the light coming into the room, taking the glare off screens and surfaces without shutting the room down completely. Blackout fabric blocks the light out altogether — useful for a home cinema, a nursery, or just a lie-in on a bright morning. Either way, the blind is motorised, so you can open or close it fully or partially at the touch of a button, adjusting exactly how much light gets through as the day changes.
