Powered by a rechargeable battery and operated by remote, they’re quiet enough to fade into the background, and the honeycomb fabric provides genuine insulation, helping keep rooms cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Both light-filtering and blackout fabrics are available, though with any track-free design there can be a small amount of light seepage at the sides — worth bearing in mind if you need a fully darkened room.
